Turk is first on this disk and they bring dreamy hip-hop vibes. C!A brings some drone based noise but that’s because we where busy braking a drum set and I was in shock after a performance art stunt I did.. good times.
General Filth “happiness is home, Mad” CDr $5
The debut album of General Filth, one of the many monikers of visual artist / experimental musician Mees Joachim. The album features 13 noisy tracks recorded with synths, guitars, sequencers, Piezo microphones, found objects, large white goods and small white goods.
The album is an experiment in creating a bridge between Musique Concrète and Harsh Noise
Title taken from a rock found in the streets of Amsterdam – inscribed with ‘Happines Is Home Mad’.
The album’s artwork is derived from the design of Dutch governmental letters that are generally loathed throughout the country. The ‘Blauwe envelop’ (which translates to ‘Blue Envelope’) is the common arch nemesis of any Dutch person.
The insert is an homage to Masami Akita’s large collection of bondage literature and Richard Ramirez’ wonderful albumcovers.

In late 2023 i put out a call for people to send me trax for cassette releases. Out of all of them this project by the name of General Filth Stood out to me. So i asked him to do a full cd and here we are.
This is some of the best noise and best dsgn we have ever had. I’m incredibly happy for it.
